Research appointments during the regular academic year, September-March, are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Standard reading room policies, designed to protect rare materials, are in force. From April to August, Peel is closed, and only limited remote research services are available by email. During the summer period, non-circulating materials housed at RCRF or brought in via Interlibrary Loan can only be used in the reading room at the UofA Archives.
